The Virgin Islands Climate Change Trust Fund (VICCTF) is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen climate resilience and contribute to the long-term wellbeing of the Virgin Islands.
Through its Call for Proposals programme, the Trust Fund invites eligible organisations and institutions to submit initiatives and projects that align with its vision of Creating the World’s First Climate-Smart Island Chain.
Call for Proposal
The Virgin Islands Climate Change Trust Fund (VICCTF) is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen climate resilience and contribute to the long-term wellbeing of the Virgin Islands.
Through its Call for Proposals programme, the Trust Fund invites eligible organisations and institutions to submit initiatives and projects that align with its vision of Creating the World’s First Climate-Smart Island Chain.
ELIGIBILITY
The Trust Fund welcomes proposals from entities that are based in the Territory and whose projects and initiatives support climate adaptation, mitigation and related initiatives that benefit the Virgin Islands.

Private sector businesses (including Micro, Small and medium Enterprises)
All applicants must demonstrate the legal capacity to enter into an agreement with the Trust Fund and the organisational ability to successfully implement and manage the proposed project or initiative. Interested applicants are encouraged to register through the Partnership Alliance Registration (PAR). to receive confirmation of eligibility and a tier assignment.
Specific eligibility and documentary requirements are clearly stated in the digital Partnership registration and Concept Note application forms and should be reviewed carefully before submission.
Using AI Tools to Prepare Your Application
To help applicants prepare, the Trust supports the use of AI tools and has made available official documents to be used. This keeps things fair — every applicant works from exactly the same information, and every question asked during the Call is published with its answer for everyone to see.
Your own application must always reflect accurate, original information — AI tools are for guidance only. If anything is unclear, the applicant help desk remains available.
APPLICATION PROCESS FOR THE COMMUNITY RESILIENCE GRANT
STEP 1
Complete the Partnership Alliance Registration (PAR) via this link. This is the first step for all organisations wishing to apply for CFP-01 funding.
STEP 2
Once submitted, you will receive an immediate score and PDF copy of the application. Approved organisations will be assigned a Partnership Tier (1–4), which reflects your organisation's current capacity and helps determine your best-fit funding pathway. The Trust will also use this submission to determine Capacity Building needs for possible support.
STEP 3
Following the tier assignment, applicants can complete the Concept Note Application form which must be completed by 17th September 2026 to be eligible for this first round of funding. Applicants must meet 75 points to be approved for the detailed application phase. Applicants receiving above 50 points will receive a gap report to help fix their shortfalls and work towards the passing score.
STEP 4
Once the Concept Note is approved , you'll be able to submit your full application for either the Community Resilience Grant, depending on your assigned tier, to be submitted no later than 8th October 2026 for eligibility under the first award cycle
STEP 5
The Trust's review committee will assess applications and make recommendations to the Board. Successful applicants will be notified via email and be invited to sign a Grant Agreement with clear conditions for accountability.
