Step 1 - Register & Receive your Tier Rating

All entities wishing to apply for CFP-1, or future funding opportunities through the VICCTF, must first complete the Partnership registration & Tier Rating Assessment.
 

An entity’s Tier Rating establishes the maximum amount of funding that entity is eligible to apply for. Following submission of the Partnership Registration & Tier Rating Assessment, partners receive confirmation of their Tier Rating and maximum funding eligibility.

Step 2 - Prepare & Submit Your Concept Note

Once an entity had completed the Partnership Registration & Tier Rating Assessment, the next step was to prepare and submit the entity's CFP-1 Concept Note Application.

The Concept Note submission deadline was 23 September 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

Step 3 - Detailed Application (By Invitation Only)

Following eligibility screening of Concept Notes, eligible applicants will be invited in early October to proceed to the Detailed Application stage.

Detailed Application Deadline: 14 October 2026

The Detailed Application Form will be provided directly to invited applicants.

What happens after I submit my Detailed Application?

The Secretariat prepares the eligible Detailed Applications for assessment by the Review Committee. The Review Committee assesses each invited proposal against the approved criteria and makes reasoned recommendations to the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees makes the final grant award decisions.

Grant awards will be published to the public grants register before funds are disbursed.
