CFP-1 Community Resilience Grants
How the Application Process works
1. Eligibility check.
Complete the Partnership Alliance Registration Form. The Secretariat confirms your eligibility and issues a gap report if anything is missing. No concept note is written before eligibility is confirmed.
2. Concept note.
Completed online, with a word limit for each section. You have 14 days from the launch of the Call to complete it and press submit.
3. Full proposal.
Concept notes that pass screening at 75% are invited to submit a full proposal within 4 weeks.
Technical assistance is available for entities not having 75% to provide support to raise their score. They will be given an opportunity to then resubmit.
4. Assessment and decision.
The secrtariat package the applications and submit the package to the Review Committee assesses every invited proposal against the criteria in Table 1; the Board of Trustees decides every application. Awards are published to the public grants register before any funds flow.
Good to Know
-
A shortfall is not a dead end. At every check you receive a gap report and may fix the gaps and resubmit within the Call window.
-
Assessment support. Screening and assessment are supported by AI software as an advisory baseline only. The Review Committee owns every assessment, the Board makes every award decision, and no application is declined on the AI score alone. Your information is handled under confidentiality undertakings and Virgin Islands data protection law.
-
Using AI to prepare your application. The website's AI help section lists the Call documents you may use with AI tools, with instructions for drafting your concept note. What you submit remains your own application and must be accurate.
-
Complaints and grievances. Anyone may raise a concern about the process, without penalty, through the grievance mechanism on www.vicctf.org.
-
Funds. No grants directly to individuals. All amounts are in USD. Payments are by electronic bank transfer only.
-
Documents to upload. Section G lists everything to upload; gather those documents before you start. The Trust never asks again for anything it already holds.
